About Lakeshore Park

The Lakeshore Park, commonly known as the Newark Lake, is one of Newark's 13 parks. Approximately 980 Lake homes (East of Lake Blvd), 270 Rosemont homes (West of Lake Blvd) and 47 Island homes surround the park with a 16 acre lake and 10 acres of turf. The park features a 1 1/4 mile scenic, flat, paved and comfortable walkway, friendly even to the handicap. The walkway wraps around the perimeter of the lake.
